What is the difference between blackout and dimout?
Blackout fabric is designed to block light passing through the material. Dimout fabric reduces brightness while letting some light through. Check the specification of the actual sample rather than choosing by appearance alone.
Can I choose light coloured blackout curtains?
Yes. A pale face fabric can have a blackout backing or be combined with a suitable blackout lining. Colour alone does not establish the level of light blocking.
Can I pair sheers with blackout curtains?
Yes. Separate tracks let you use sheers for softer daytime light and close the blackout layer when needed. Sheers alone may not provide privacy after dark when your indoor lights are on.
